Hello,

My question is if having a PR from a third country will cause problems for my Canadian citizenship application.
I came to Canada as a temporary worker in 2014, applied for my PR in September 2015 and received it in May 2016.
After applying my PR in Canada, I received my permanent residence status in a European country due to a changed law that made me eligible. I did not even visited there since I moved to Canada.
My question is if holding a PR from a third country, will cause problems in my Canadian citizenship application. I am going to apply in June 2018.

Thanks a lot for your advice.

If your resident card is valid from any other country in world or you are citizen of any country you have to declare that and I believe it will not affect on your file ... And don't try to hide anything ... I'm citizen of 3 countries now ... I'm holding European passport as well and canadian but I've declared when I was applying for my citizenship.
