Hi I have a question pertaining to the part of the citizenship application where it asks about status in other countries.

I am a Tanzanian citizen and have travelled to many countries in my lifetime. I intend to include any countries I visited where I got a visa stamp in my passport or e-visa document to print and present to border authorities.

Tanzanian citizens however freely cross the Kenyan border and we usually get a stamp in our passport that allows us to visit Kenya for 3 months at a time. We do not need to apply for a visa for this but we do get stamps in our passport when we cross the border. Do I need to include everytime I visited Kenya?

I had the same concern because some of my visas don't have "expiry dates" per se only the exit stamps. I don't have a correct answer but what I ended up doing was writing my exit stamp date as the expiry date and I attached a letter to explain this... basically anything that might cause confusion I made sure to explain in my letter.

What did you state in your letter of explanation?
