hiring foreign student

Hey,

I am a student with a work visa for my coop.

would I company be able to hire me permanently before I finish my studies?
has any foreign student been hired by a company and got sponsorship or a work permit
before finishing their studies in canada?

If you are really good in your Work-Term, normally Companies offer you a second work term, which will reduce the amount of effort you would have to put in for the next work term. And if you are really good.. They might offer you a job.

I have friends who are currently doing their work term and have been offered another work-term the next time they have to do it. And what Ive heard is the general way this ends is that the Company offers you a Job.

I'm on contract work right now, and i love what I do, but I wish I got
hired in a permanent basis... will keep my fingers crossed

If they are really happy with you just ask them to offer you a job and then you are done buddy! the moment you got the offer of job you are safe.
