Hi there, actually my wife has Evaluated her PHARMACY degree through WES and got evaluated as a bachelor degree. So can she select proffessional degree as her highest level of education? or she has to do PEBC evaluation to select taht option? Or she can't choose that option at all.
Thank you

On CIC website, it says:

as a pharmacist (NOC 3131):
  • if you need a license to practice (for example, providing patient care in a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, long term care facility or other practice settings) the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) must do your ECA,
  • if you are in a position where you do not need a license (organizations such as the pharmaceutical industry and government which require a pharmacy degree because of the education or skill set, but may not require a licence to practice pharmacy), you can have your credentials assessed by one of the other designated ECA organizations. Contact the regulatory authority in the province where you plan to live to find out if you need a licence to practice your intended occupation.
It seems it is up to work experience. In order to claim professional degree, you will need to have license as CRS table says:

Master's degree, or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (For “professional degree”, the degree program must have been in: medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, law, chiropractic medicine, or pharmacy.)

Always stick to the WES evaluation. There is a reason why CIC mandates that all the applicants do their educational assessment through WES right??

Good luck.
