My child is entering university this year and got offers from some universities. My child has done complete high school from Canada. What documents are needed to apply for study permit? IRCC website seems to be more inclined towards international students coming from outside Canada. For example,
1. For proof of funds, will bank account statements of parents suffice?
2. Is medical exam needed since child has been in Canada since 2021?
3. Is a separate GIC needed in child's name?
4. Is custodian declaration needed since child is living with parents?
5. Do I request for study permit till end of the course (it would be between 4 to 5 years)?
