My cousin wants to come and continue high school in Canada. She is currently in grade 10. Is it possible to come and continue high school? and can her parents come with her?
Please advice

1. Yes, it is possible, but depending on the province, if she is under 18/19 then she will require a guardian in Canada. Note she will be paying international fees.
2. Unlikely that her parents can come with her.

Thanks PMM for the reply.

I am from Alberta and Me and my wife will her guardian and is there a way to bring her parents? not on Visitor visa any other way?

Thanks

They can certainly apply for a visitor visa to come and visit Canada for a few weeks. However they can't live here or work here on a visitor visa. In order to live here and work here, they would need to secure a full time job offer from an employer in Canada, the employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA and then they would then need to apply for a work permit.

He will need to obtain a study permit. Yes - he will require a medical exam. You'll need to contact the school he will be attending to find out if they require IELTS.

When he applies for the study permit, he'll need to demonstrate that he/his parents have funds available to cover the cost of one year tuition (approximately $15,000) and also an additional $10K for living expenses.

He needs to gain admission from a school in Canada first. Once he does that, he can apply for a study permit, Scylla has aswered your questions. The proof of funds part is very important.
