Hypertension is a serious factor as per CIC

Well how VO works in terms of illness depends on case to case.

I have seen people with high BP were referred for medication and then they got PR.

Also there could be the case if someone is as old as 45 years having a high BP can be taken as a serious illness. But if someone is like 27 -30 years of age, this can be cured with medication and may not be taken negatively.

Also rest of the test like ECG and ECHO2d gives a lot of info about your heart condition and basically checks lot of things, and if there is any kind of abnormality then this could have negative impact over application.

Just be +ve and held your hopes high, atleast this will keep your BP in check :)

Hi All,

Yesterday i went for Cardio opinion ...

When Cardiologist Checked BP Was normal( below 140/90 ). So no further test were conducted Like Echo or TMT .

I was not given any medication also. Hope my medical will be through !!

When can I expect the ECAS update .(My file will uploaded on 1st or 2nd Dec )...

Should I pay RPRF or wait till update happens ?

How many times do they take your blood pressure? I assume 3 times and if constantly high the it is a problem?

anyone remember from which side they take BP? right side or left side?

I guess they took BP from right hand..

usually took BP test 3-4 times in 2 days.

I went for my medicals on Saturday 24th Jan,

All test were fine, except for BP, my BP was 130/90, but doc did not measure it again, nor did they ask for any additional tests.

Is 130/90 acceptable or am I expecting trouble.

Any body reading this, we have the PR, high BP doesn't impact the application in most of the cases

How about Blood Sugar ?

They measure sugar from urine.Consulate is more concerned about your organs like Kidneys and heart.
If they find any abnormality they do additional tests. If organs are fine, then no need to worry if you have abnormal BP or sugar.

This is very much normal.

I read here after medical exam and i got very nervous because my bp was very high during examination.

now i have PR. I am sure that High BP is not a problem, if it is the only problem you have. dont worry. there was a guy here claiming that he rejected due to high bp. There must be another reason.

Guys,

I got the medical test high blood pressure and ECG shows abnormal heart rate. They asked me to see a cardiologist. I never had high or low BP. But suddenly at hospital it went up. Anyone faced same issue?
