Well you didn't answer my question about whether it was a successful appeal so I'm going to just assume that it's an original application that hasn't been decided on yet.
Anyway......from what I've read, in addition to helping with the successful appeals of previously-refused cases, CPP-Ottawa is also around to just help expedite processing at certain VOs. So if Cairo forwarded your file to Ottawa you can assume they did so to make the processing of it more expeditious.
You can order GCMS notes to see what the progress looks like on your file. Otherwise, just stay patient.

they sent me aletter for decision made approved then they forwarded to cairo visa office for final processing on october 21 2011
they send other letter on nov 25 2011 they transferred to case processing pilot ottawa for processing all enquiries
