Thank you for all the useful information on this forum...
My wife, has been working for an oil refinery, resale company(like the Petro Canada) in Korea as a financial manager for 3 full years. According to the NOC web site, the job description of the financial manager fits exactly what she is doing, but she's not sure whether she is a "manager".
She finished a bachelor degree majoring in politics and a master degree for a public policy specialized in public finance, right after finishing the course, she got the job.
She is worrying about being regarded as a staff not a manager, regarding short work experience and what she studied(weak tie with financial field), even more, the document(proof of employment) issued by the company says about the rank as "staff".
Is there any chances to be regarded as a "manager" by proving what she really do?
She will be promoted as an "assistent manager" in december this year, is it better to wait until she get the "manager" title?
Thank you for your kind and detailed reply.
