Hi - Temp VISA Extension (Based on renewed WP)

Hi All,

Good Morning. I am in Work Permit and family is in Visitor Permit, and we have got it renewed WP / VP with current validity until end of Dec 2019. Our VISA's expiring May 2018. So I applied online for myself and spouse, child same time for VISA extension. Only my VISA status is showing as approved and CIC asking to send passports, however my Spouse and Child VISA applications still showing as in progress.

Need your expert advise on whether this is normal? I thought all will normally gets processed same time. And How long will it take for their processing to complete? As I am confused (rather worried tbh). Appreciate your response. Thanks.
 
not too much to worry, just send IRCC your passport, there are many reasons why the apps are not processed the same time. How long they will take is unknown since published timelines are only estimates, not commitments.

Hi

As your wife and child are visitors, they do not qualify to apply for TRVs inside Canada. Their apps were not processed with yours.

Hi - what should I be doing then? How should I apply for them? Or will that get processed later? I am confused and appreciate your response...

Their applications will be processed outside of Canada. You just need to wait.
 
As well as I am just checking there was no provision on online application to provide the dependents Visitor permits or photos, the only file we can upload apart from their application is passport copies. How is this possible? And how can I submit the additional documents? Anyone had similar experiences before pls share. Thanks.
