Is it mandatory to have letter of invitation for a visit visa application? My friend wants to come to Canada for tourism purposes, i wrote an invitation letter as a friend but application has been refused on some other grounds. If we don’t add it next time, will it affect the application?

Also, if we are unable to get latest documents, can we use documents as old as march 1st? It includes his employment and proof of finances letter from bank.

Thank you.

Order GCMS notes for full reasons. No a letter of invitation isn’t necessary. What were reasons for refusal? How long was the planned trip? Amount of funds? Documents must be within last 4 months.

thank you for your response. We’re also ordering GCMS notes but want to try luck again.

reason was employment prospects in country of residence but he has full time permanent job already.

immigration status in Australia was the other reason. His visa is valid till 17th may but he has to go back to Australia anyways and current visa allows multiple entries in and outside Australia

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
okay thank you. Will property docs will be enough? It’s not on his name though.

IRCC won't change the decision while he does not have a permanent status in Australia. You will only waste his money applying again.
