Hi, Job titles slightly different please advice whether should apply

Hello Everybody,
I have been working as a formulation chemist ( my official title) on H1-B since 09/04. I want to apply for Alberta PnP as a chemist (NOC-2112). The job descriptions are very similar as they say must work in lab, for R&D etc, inventor etc. My dilemma is that title of formulation chemist is not included in the example titles of Chemist. Will that create a potential problem for my application.

I don't think this will be a problem at all. Go ahead and apply, it's free so you don't have much to loose anyhow.

As long as the duties match the NOC it should not be a problem. Go for it.
