Hi I need help to know what to do in my case with divorce

I just received my permanent resident card by being sponsoring from my husband ,
and he is already asking for divorce ?
please tell me when is the best to do this divorce ?
I will land in Canada in July and should I wait 3 years till I will become a citizen or it's doesn't matter if I will divorce before ?
I am very sick of all this happening cause I really love my husband but he is unbelivieble crazy ...
please help me ?

I think you need to read what you just wrote, What would you tell a friend that was in this situation?

What especially stands out to me is you said that you "Really Love your Husband" which is understandable, And he is divorcing you? Then you say "But he is unbelievable crazy" which I assume you mean crazy not in a good way!

I thought you got your PR card after you land. Maybe I am wrong.

If you haven't landed yet, I think you should seriously consider whether you should.

How will you support yourself if your husband chooses not to take care of you?
Is there any chance he could hurt you, or become otherwise abusive? You say he's crazy.

I don't know for sure, but the PR application doesn't end until you land, so if you already know your marriage is over or soon will be over, wouldn't you be entering Canada under fraudulent reasons?

The process is long, and you are right near the end. I know the desire to be in Canada is strong, but you have to think about your own safety! Perhaps divorcing him and staying in your own country is the best route.

Trust me, a man who wants to divorce his wife before she even arrives is not going to be a pleasant person to live with. This could potentially end up a very bad situation.

After landing in Canada , and if you divorce during first 3 years , is this divorce gonna inlunce to obtain my citizenship ?

I wanna clarify my situation , I met my husband 10 years ago , he is my love of my life , but I am so confused cause he is doing this to me asking for divorce already , I received all my papers but in July I am flying to Canada
we never lived toghether as husband and wife and I just wanna know , after landing in Canada and if he is gonna ask me for divorce in 6 months or 1 year cause you have to prove that you lived separate is this gonna influence for my citizenship or not ?
I meant that he is crazy because of living me this way without no important reason .
I am so sad of what is happening in my life now .

So land in Canada,do you have friends family here to stay with?Where are you going to go when you get here its obvious its not with him.I dont know this just seems a bit weird.But if you can support yourself here then land and support yourself.After you lansd you may want to explain to someone at CIC that he is doing this to you.As you are suppose to report any changes in your situation.
