Well these are two separate applications with two different processing times and document requirements. They are not necessarily processed together. Husband will not need medical because he is a visitor, not a student or worker. He is not part of your application. Assuming he is coming to get you settled and return to home country.

Processing for a study permit is around 12 weeks so medical can be requested at any time in the process. Has eligibility and background been completed.

What country did you apply from?

Hi thanks for prompt response. We are applying from Pakistan.
Yes husband’s application is visitor visa, and will be only visiting. And mine is study permit. Please excuse my ignore how will I get to know my background and eligibility has been completed ?
People around me were asked with in 22 days to apply for medical and all. Hence I was worried if I am late? Or is this alright.

Login and check status. Medical can be asked near end of processing or at beginning. If you haven’t received response by end of August then send a webform.

Assume husband showed ties to return, funds separate from your study permit funds, travel history and valid reasons to travel.
