hi friends hope everyone dreams turn to reality.

im about to apply for visa under spp.the most worrying part of my profile is my gaps between education.somehow i managed the gaps well and clearly mentioned in my sop.to be frank my academic profile is not impressive.

im a B.E. graduate in electronics and instrumentation but took admission in information technology and web design at lambton college.so study mismatch.but after B.E. i self trained computer courses,have done 1 year diploma on computer applications and hardward and networking course for 4 months.i stated everything and also my interest to this program.this is a 2 year graduate certificate program and i have ielts 6.0 bands .

does a VO look into our certificates in depth?why because in my statement of marks , my backlogs can easily be noticed.since i have n number of backlogs im really tensed about this.

in my sop i reported my academic background,program of study,some common reasons to fly for canada,career plan and study of interest in a seperate page.

i met all the requirements for study permit under spp.

friends ur replies will give me to work more on my profile or boost up my confidence.

Hey Buddy All the best on your Visa. I think your SOP is fine in reference to the facts you have stated above. Honestly the VO doesn't look into the academic details and i don't think backlog is an issue.It's the responsibility of the colleges/universities to assess your academic profile. The VO will just look into your previous course completion, work experience or reasons for study gaps etc. Soi think you have addressed all that. My suggestion is that check whether your IELTS is enough(to be on the safe side). Otherwise everything is fine.

but the college requires ielts score is 6.0 for graduate certificate.coming to funds. i got the educational loan for 14 lakhs.both my parents are still working.

can both mother and father working be considered as one of the home ties?

Yeah it can be considered. And is your IELTS enough to satisfy your case under SPP?

yeah to file under spp,one should have overall min band score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 and fortunately i have just met the requirements .

Man,i thought you had dropped your application package to the embassy!!!!!!!!

Am shocked you have net done so.What have you been doing all that time.Working on your SOP?Hope not.

You have wasted alot of time.Pls drop your application and stop worrying about so many things.

hi dear how ru? i have worked a lot on my sop.hope it executed well.im gonna submit my documents to consultancy on 22nd .attending medical on 21st i.e. day after tomorrow.
