You should explain to your Mother-in-law that nowadays it's impossible to get a high paying job even WITH a Canadian degree. I have one and been here for 20 years. I used to work for the gov. but due to cutbacks and lay-offs, even I am working a job that I am over-qualified for, with a Canadian degree and all. I work at a call centre and started off as an agent and am now on the management side of things. Why don't you try a call-centre job near you, they usually hire many people at once and it is considered better than a factory.ali22 said:
