If ill get approved ill leave ph on the 18th of march, I will arrived in toronto on the 19th then will travel back to ph on the 27th. now technicall I will only stay there for less than 10 days, is $1000 cad enough or safe to say to put in to my bank account?-I can definitely borrow money if I still need more but based on my searches, most reasons why visa is declined its because people dont have enough proof that they will go back to their country.

I already have his invitation letter, he includes my full name, address, DOB, passport number, reason why I want to go there which is he put it as (FOR TOURISM). He indicates there that I will stay on his place and alll expenses will be shouldered by him. He also put his details like his full name, address, DOB, contact number and citizenship if they want to contact the person that I will be visiting.

Now on searches I made some people say that if it is a friend who is inviting u, an invitation will be enough, dont send copies of his passport, bank statements etc as the office might think that we have a relationship as bf/gf and I may not go back. they say that I should let them understand that u are there for tourism and not just to see someone. So I only have the invitation letter.

In terms of proof return, I made searches and heres what ive got, I fill out the forms online, is it going to be better if I put him as my AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE? Anyway, I have my COE, I also ask HR to provide me another letter stating whats my job, how long ive been working for them, salary and the days on when I will be on leave and when I should expected to go back to work. I will also get an affidavit letter swearing that I will go back to my country including thr dates of my flight going to canada abd when I will go back to PH.

Family support tab: I have my siblings birth certificate that I will attached too, I am also a single mom so I will attach my daughter's birth certificate. I have my house title as well as an asset. I will also include my solo parent ID (for single parents here in PH), intellicare(Heath card from my job). I also saw something about an affidavit from friends to support your claim but not sure how does it work and what should be indicated on that affidavit.

I will also make an explanation letter besides from the affidavit for the proof of return so I can explain more and to show the officer that I am really going back to my country because I have a wonderful job in PH whose providing me enough salary to feed my family and my daughter as well is my dependent so I think these reasons is enough to convince them that I will return to my country

And in the forms that I fill out online, there was a note there regarding the electronic signature, how does it work?.

Did I miss anything?

Hi,

I will only stay there for less than 10 days, is $1000 cad enough or safe to say to put in to my bank account?-
No, it is not sufficient. You must have CAD 1000 per week of stay + airfare (unofficial advice).

btw if you have not traveled outside the Philippines, the visa officer may question why you want to take a holiday to visit Canada for 10 days + how much of your savings you are spending for this visit and why.

I can definitely borrow money if I still need more
Do not borrow. The visa officer wants to see if you have your own finances for the visit without borrowing from anyone.

He indicates there that I will stay on his place and alll expenses will be shouldered by him.
Even if your boyfriend will take care of your accommodation and expenses, you must show you can manage on your own (this will demonstrate that your financial situation is good).

if it is a friend who is inviting u, an invitation will be enough, dont send copies of his passport, bank statements etc as the office might think that we have a relationship as bf/gf
Not true. If your host says that he will pay for your expenses/stay then he can provide his NOA, payslips and bank statements (it is entirely his choice if he wants to provide these documents).

He must, however, provide proofs of his immigration status and his passport.

is it going to be better if I put him as my AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE?
Why? It's not necessary.

Affidavits will not work. What you must submit is evidence such as:
a. Your daughter is dependent on you so you must return + who will temporarily take care of her in your absence
b. Your ties (payslips for the last 6 months + financial investments + house valuation as per current market rates, etc)
c. Are your siblings dependent on you financially? Can you submit proofs for this?
d. Can you show a must return by date (not just for your work)?

Cheers

Thank you so much Bry! Your the best! Since my bank statement will not be enough for me to support myself I will ask for my sponsor to send his bank statements and affidavit that he will be shouldering everything once im there including air fare and only thing i need is the expenses food the food and transpo from the time that i will be travelling from manila to toronto. Now i got my siblings birth certificate, my mom's and my daughter's birth certificate too. My dad passed away so I can just explain that on the letter. I'm only supporting my mom and my kid. I saw on the forum earlier that someone got her visa even if she declared that they are engaged. Can I do that as well? I think tat will be better to explain as why am i going there, it s because i want to see where did he grew up and go visit places with his family too

Hi,

Thanks so much :)

my bank statement will not be enough for me to support myself I will ask for my sponsor to send his bank statements and affidavit that he will be shouldering everything once im there including air fare and only thing i need is the expenses food the food and transpo from the time that i will be travelling from manila to toronto.
It does not work this way when the visa officer assesses your financial situation.

IMO you must defer your visit if your bank balance is not sufficient to pay for the airfare + itinerary (without the sponsor paying for it).... save a bit more and then apply.

The more financial dependence you show on your sponsor (apart from the typical accommodation/local travel expenses type of financial support).... the weaker your chances are of getting a TRV.

Now i got my siblings birth certificate, my mom's and my daughter's birth certificate too. My dad passed away so I can just explain that on the letter. I'm only supporting my mom and my kid.
Your siblings' birth certificate(s) will not help.... same for a letter. Evidence is necessary.

You must prove that they are staying with you at the same address currently + prove that you pay for household expenses/utility bills/insurance/property rent, etc

Also, you could include proofs that your mom cannot take care of your daughter beyond XX date.... for example, your mom is working = you must return to take care of your child.

I saw on the forum earlier that someone got her visa even if she declared that they are engaged.
What works for someone else may not work for another person.... each person's situation is unique.

You must be honest and truthful.... and if you demonstrate that you have strong reasons to return to the Philippines then you can get a TRV

Cheers

I can prove assets like the title of my house and I am still paying for the house that I just bought but what documents should I get stating that I am still paying the house I bought? Can I just submit A bank certificate instead of bank statements? The maximum funds that I can come up with is 50000php or its roughly 1500Cad I think. cad dollar convert to philippine peso is 33.36 per dollar. Thats tha maximum I can come up with for now since I will submit my documents within this month and will still have more funds by febuary to march. The only reasob I need to submit the requirements within the month its because im planning to go there on 2nd week of march and even on the proof of return from my employer thats the date that they will indicate as well. target flight from Manila to toronto is on march 18, target date returning from toronto to manila is on the 27th, all in its 13days but if they are talking about having funds once I got to toronto it will be 13days less than 4days
