Anyway why, after all, give ratings?? it seems like we all got back to school......ahahahha

It's better this way, I think. The old + and - ratings were not a good reflection of someone at all.

That's good. I was never sure how those worked anyway, and I agree with Jurjen . . . it was too easy for somebody who just didn't like someone's answer to give them a bad rating. There was no way to go back to see which post or reply elicited the bad rating, or who gave it - so it couldn't be a clear reflection of giving bad advice. It was just a tool someone could arbitrarily use to "slam" someone if they got mad at them. So it proved nothing.

And there were several cases where someone got a few negative ratings and had not even posted anything recently. So, it seems that some people simply like to scan past emails and arbitrarily give bad ratings.

I guess it's better for their health than eating too much sugar, but couldn't they save us the annoyance and just go into a dark room and scream?

I gave all of you three(jurjen, robsluv, toby) good ratings...ehehe

Not really. ::)
One may still give negative rates however it won't be showed when he writes a message(thingy beside the post) but you will be able to see it once you go to his profile.

i got bad ratings when i was a newbie and most of my posts were either questions or giving my honest opinion throughout debates...but i noticed if someone doesn't like ur opinion they will just "rate" u accordingly ??? which of course is wrong

yeah u could see the bad ratings if u check that person's profile but who cares at the end...they don't reflect anything...plus i know for myself i rarely check anyone's profile...since i'm here, i checked just one person just to follow her story from the beginning and understand her situation

yaaaaay for taking off (at least on the surface) the bad ratings ;)
