Just don't worry , they are aware about the scotia bank gic delay and strike effect. So if you applied in the last week july you are in safe position.
Chandigarh CHC start processing files of july candidates. So now it would be that much long as it was before for june applicants.

My file was received on 22nd july at embassy for processing , I applied at vfs chd on 19 july.
