Dear Canadian4U,

Your time line is showing that: -

Doc's Request: 23rd February, 2010 and IELTS Request: 23rd February, 2010

I would like to know, what does it mean?

Does it mean in the AOR letter they have requested submission of your documents and specifically mentioned IELTS to be submitted along with the documents or they have requested submission of the supporting documents without specifying any?

Your reply will be highly appreciated Canadian4U.

Regards,
@afr - Sorry for the late reply. I was out of town for last couple of days and internet was not accessible there.

01st AOR means the first email we gets from CIO, NS and during the period of 120 days of submission of docs we need to provide IELTS score as asll henceI mentioned the IELT date as 23rd Feb, 2010 as well.

Now within the time frame of 120 days I submitted my full docs to CHC ND on 08th May, 2010 for which I got confirmation from CHC regarding receiving of my full docs at CHC new delhi which is called 2nd AOR.

Pls reply If I missed anything.

Thanks.

Thanks Canada4U, I am glad to notice your reply today.

I am inquiring about the 1st AOR (the first email we get from CIO, NS). In my case this AOR requested me to submit the supporting documents without specifying any of them. In your case, did the email from CIO NS mention any document in specific, specially the IELT?

Thanks

No there are no docs mentioned on the email but yes the profile(Exp/Edu) we mentioned while applying for PR need to submit with local CHC for verification/authenticity of the profile & background check.

Docs checklist is available on cic website. Will try to get the link for the same.

HI everybody in this forum

I got my PPR last week and yesterday i have sent all passports for visa stamping to CHC London

I need some information from u people

My passport validity is 8 months and 10 days

But CHC London has mentioned that passport should be valid for 1 year from the date of medical

whereas my passport is valid for 11 months and 24 days from the date of medical

But it is valid for 8 months and 10 days from now

But still i have sent it even it was short of 6 days what they required

I did this becoz i am staying in Dubai and all machine readable passports come from

Islamabad and they take more than 45 days to get passport renew and there was not enough time

So what u think in this case ?

Will they notice this minor difference of 6 days and return my passports

OR

They will ignore this and stamp our visas

Plz reply

Thanks

Congrats on the PPR ather!

Do not worry. They will stamp the visas but the visas will expire either a year after the medicals OR when your passport expires, whichever comes first. This means that you have to land before your passport expires because even if you apply for a new passport but the visa is in the old one, they will not honor the visa anymore.
