Dear All

I would like to request reply on behalf on my friend whose immigration has reached at his medical exam level. Unfortunately, his medical has shown Hepatitis C positive, He is been advised to go further test and he found that the reading of second test is positive with (300,000 IU/ML reading). he is been further referred to Gastro Specialist where he found that All lever Tests, Lever Blood Tests and other tests are negative (No effect on lever or any part of body because of HCV). He is in normal health but with HCV positive.

Could you please let me know what is effect on his immigration for which he has already paid Landing fees. What are the chances that his application may be rejected because of his HCV positive report?

Please share in case of any of your experience because of HCV positive cases rejected by CIC?

APPRECIATED IN ADVANCE.

What was the opinion of gastroenterologist regarding treatment? I have seen many people got visa who were Hepatitis B positive, only a carrier state.he didn't require any treatment.but in majority of cases of C they require treatment.as in this case viral load positive after getting treatment cic may consider the issue.
