Hemophilia - can this be an issue for immigration to Canada?

Let me ask you one thing: Do you currently take or have you taken any medicine to prevent from the hemophilia? What exactly do you have. A friend of mine has "thrombophilia" and we're trying to find out whether she can apply for the PR.

It's possible this could be a problem. It will depend on his overall health - whether he uses treatments (e.g. hemate p / humate p) and whether he's on any regular medication.

No - taking private medical insurance will not help to resolve the PR process. First of all, private medical insurance most likely won't cover his condition since it's pre-existing. Secondly, once he is a PR, there will be nothing stopping him from using the public health care system.

Really hard to comment since it depends on the severity of the bleeding disorder and which one.

I'm new to this forum and I would really appreciate if anyone knows the answer to this.
I want to move to Canada to work and continue my life there and apply for permanent resident status. I of course have everything that is requested. My health is generally great but I do have Hemophilia and I would like to know if that could be a problem for me to receive permanent resident status?

If not, does the health coverage cover Hemophilia patients for their therapy?

My spouse has haemophilia and we were considering the possibility of applying for PR, wherein I apply in an individual capacity and he can later apply as a spouse? I understand that haemophilic directly applying will face rejection for excess demand. Has anyone here applied for PR in an individual capacity

IRCC will not consider that your spouse is receiving treatment under humanitarian aid. They will take the treatment he is receiving and calculate how much this will cost the Canadian health care system to determine if he is medically admissible. They will also consider if he may need further treatment in the future. Factor tends to be fairly expensive in Canada. Which exact factor or other treatment does he get and how often? Depending on the answer, immigration may still be possible for you.

You must include him in your application and he must pass the medical in order for your application to be approved. If he fails the medical then you are automatically refused as well.
