:(Dear whom is reading this,

Im from London, UK. Im currently in Canada and came in as a visitor, As a British Citizen I do not need a visa, I can travel back and forth for up-to 6 months. Now, I have graduated in a B.Sc. In Civil Engineering. I would like to move to Canada and figured my best way to come would be to study here as finding a job seems merely impossible.

1.Am I right in assuming that if i take a 1 year course inside canada then after the 1 year course is complete, I may be able to apply for permanent residency?? Or i will have to obtain a Work Permit after for the length of study and then obtain PR???

2. Does it matter what course I take as long as it a 1 year course? Or does this need to be specific? I have already looked on Cic and doesnt state anything on this matter precisely.

3.And would it be possible to obtain a study permit from within Canada? Because some people are saying yes some are saying no.

1. It is becoming increasingly difficult to do so. You have to have some Canadian Experience before applying.

2. Best to take a course which can land you a skilled job later

3. You can apply within Canada but its best if you apply from your resident country.
