’ve been deported back to my native country where I’m lost, i lived in the USA my whole life. I have a husband and adoptive son six back in the USA. I’m in colombia they don’t speak Spanish, so even if my husband wanted to come and live here he wouldn’t be able to work. I’ve seen them once for holiday for 10 days, it was a magical time to be able to hold them again. My husband is coming to visite me for 5 days in a month. My question to you is that our problem right now is finding a place that my husband would wan to leave his whole life for, his family friends and his job of 20 years. He lives in Florida and I think our best bet is to try to immigrate to Canada, still in North America, but very far away from anything he knows, the weather scares him and so does starting over in a new country. This is what he wrote to me in an email.
(I love you and always have, and I would give anything to have you back with us. I just don’t see moving to Canada as a viable option. You are asking me to leave my home, my family, the country, my job, everything. We would be in Canada alone, with no support from anyone).
So my question is is this a valid answer from him and if so what are our options then, do we live separated for the rest of our lives or do we face our fears to reunite our family?
Thank you I’m desperate for any input. Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
