I have an aunt who is seeking to help a family member whose age is 26, and has no mom and dad to come to canada. what is the possibility of issueing him the visa and what is the starting point? actually she knows nothing about visa but although she's a registered Nurse.

any canadian or someone who have had this kind of thing in the house???

The starting point is here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-how.asp

No one here can tell you what the chances are of a visa being issued. It depends how well she can demonstrate strong ties to her home country to prove she will return at the end of her visit and has no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

is a he not she. she might not like him to come back again bcos he has no mom and dad here. would they permit her to take care of him during his staying?

Sorry about that.

He can stay with his aunt while he visit for a few months - but he can't live in Canada. If it looks like he has plans to stay in Canada for more than just a visit, this will increase the chances that the visa will be refused.

If he wants to immigrate to Canada, then he will have to review the various immigration programs below to see if he qualifies to apply. He should assume that Family Sponsorship won't be possible. He should focus on the Federal Skilled Worker program, the Federal Skilled Trade program, the Quebec Skilled Worker program and the Provincial Nominee Programs.

Another option is your aunt hires him so that he can get a work visa and his aunt gets a labour market opinion for him.

You can find information about labour market opinions here:
