So
We applied for my spouse sponsorship in 2017 and withdraw that application for my Canadian wife to move here in Trinidad
Now she returned to canada and is sponsoring me once more thereis a couple things on the 1st application that i would like to change on our present application
Question is
Do immigration check old application vs new application
And would any change in information be a problem???

My wife put that we got engaged over the phone and actually what happened is i had proposed over the phone

Isn't that the same?
You proposed over the phone, she accepted and then you and her were then engaged.

IMO it's just minor details. (if your culture does offical "engagement" ceremony or something of that sort.)
