Help!!

Hi everyone,
First my husband is the applicant under spousal sponsorship.

So today we got the letter saying for his COPR he just needs to send in his photo and the picture page of his passport so that’s great news. However it says his permanent resident documents are only valid for a year after his medical examination. But he did his medical examination is March 2017.so it’s already expired. We applied in January 2017. And it’s been nothing but problem after problem. What should we do? Are we going to have to start this process all over again or will they allow him to go for another examination? Any help would be great thank you!

Send the photos and passport page for the COPR and wait and see when they send you the COPR, they should be aware of this and have changed the date for you. If you receive the COPR with an expired date then you'll need to contact them. But that shouldn't happen unless someone has made a mistake on their end and in which case they should allow you to just retake the medical, as normally it seems with other people when the medical has expired they just ask for a redo.
