Hello everyone,

I am new to the immigration process and to this forum as well, can anyone help me out with the basic stuff? I am not aware as to which program I should be applying (Express entry or skilled workers), if I intend to work in Canada and then apply for a permanent residency. I have mentioned my profile below if it helps.

I am a Bcom graduate from Mumbai university and currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Management studies (majoring in finance 2017)
I have no work experience since I got admitted in the post graduate course, right after my graduation. My academic records are above average and no back logs at all, along with this I have done a summer internship for 3 months as a research analyst.

I also intend to pursue the CPA certification from Canada. If anyone can give me some insights on it that would be really helpful. The primary motive is to work in relevant sectors (Accounting/Finance) so as to gain Canadian work experience and complete the CPA charter.

I am 21 years old and will complete my post graduate degree in June 2017. Kindly suggest me what avenues I can look at so that I am aware of the basic stuff if I hire an immigration consultant.

Based on your details, looks like you would be into FSW (Federal skilled worker) category. But, since you have no experience, you would not be eligible for it (that being one of the mandatory criteria for selection).
You can go through this site for more information: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/
You can as well try getting yourself assessed by the host of this forum. They should be able to confirm your eligibility accordingly.
Good luck!! :)

I don't believe there is any immigration program you can qualify for without work experience. You need to complete your education and then obtain at least one year of full time work experience before you can think about applying.
