Gonna keep this short.. I was arrested last year but was released with no further action whatsoever. I was not charged or cautioned. I am applying for my study permit at the moment and was wondering if this would prevent me from being accepted into Canada!
Thanks in advance :)

Get a police certificate, you'll be required to include it with your study permit application anyway.

Here is how you can get one: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/united-kingdom.asp

I didn't think I needed a police certificate as I'm not looking for permanent residence?

A police certificate is required for study permit applications when applying on paper. If you're applying online, you will be asked to answer a couple of eligibility questions and then you will get a customized checklist of the documents that you have to upload. In some cases after the medical exam, they can request for additional documents, which in some cases is a police certificate. So either way, i'ts a good idea to get one.

Yeah I'm going to get one anyway, it's annoying as I really didn't do anything wrong haha. Thanks both of you for your help! Very much appreciated.
