help - Work Permit stamping processing times NYC office any idea ?

I have sent the passport to NYC office for getting Canadian temporary work permit along with all the documents by paper application. I got a tracking number and when I checked the status at https://www.csc-cvac.com/en-us/selfservice/status
it says -

" Your current application status is Application Received by the Visa Office - Under Consideration "

How much more time will it take to get the work permit stamped on the passport ? The application was received on September 29th. Is there an online tracker for people with the same situation ?

I'm guessing that your WP is ICT, right ? when did you submit the application?

My company has submitted my online ICT WP application on September 8, so far i have no change in the status.

What is ICT ? I am guessing its company transfer ? Mine is not. I got a job offer and got LMIA and CAQ from Quebec and the lawyer submitted a paper application to NYC VAC center. The lawyer also gave me tracking number with which I went to https://www.csc-cvac.com/en-us/selfservice/status and got the status as :

" Your current application status is Application Received by the Visa Office - Under Consideration "

Did you get a similiar status ?

Yes, same status for me.

NYC office publish visa updates on their Facebook page on weekly basis, as of last Friday(oct-7) looks like they are working on applications from August. PFB,

Once the decision is made , can we go in person to New York to get the Visa stamped on Passport on the same day , instead of sending the passport over mail and wait for 10-15days?

Saw few people posting on this forum had success in getting the Visa stamped directly at Consulate in a single day and there are few for whom the consulate didn't allow that.

Anyone able to check their application status online from past 2 days?

My attorney prepared all the documents and was about to submit my application online , but the site is down from 2 days.

Saw in twitter (CitImmCanada/status/788034088858976256) that its down from a week and people are not even able to view the status of their applications. There is no ETA when the site will be back :-(
