Help work permit refusal

Myself Shreyansh Shah was an international student in Canada for 2 years and had applied for PGWP on May 28 2015. I waited till October as the processing time was exceeded but I did not received any mail fro CIC on my application. I leaved the country and came to India as I had a family emergency in October. On December 08th I got the mail saying the refusal reason of my PGWP. The reason they provided me is not submission of travel document.

As I forgot to attached the passport I got an refusal letter but nobody requested me for the missing document to submit from CIC and they gave the decision. Is their any chance to resubmit the documents? What should I do for getting the PGWP?

First contact CIC and then yes, you can re-apply for PGWP ASAP and make sure you attached all require Docs. Also, apply for restore status if you exceed 60 days.

Contact CIC, explain your problem to them.

CIC is not advising anything, they just keep saying that we cannot advise u anything.

Once you are out of Canada without status (valid visa or resident/wp permit) , CIC-Ottawa is no longer covering your situation.

What I would suggest you to do is to contact the Canadian Embassy in India and explain your situation. And I don't think there is a need to explain to them that you have forgotten to submit the most important document for identification, therefore your application got refused.

Ask the embassy if they can issue you a PGWP. If they do, then submit an application for Work Permit (+VISA) to the Canadian embassy. (it will be processed faster than CIC-Ottawa) and hopefully if everything works well, you can return to Canada.

I think that this is your best bet.

Call indian embassy, explain them your situation .. if its not 90 days after your school .. apply asap online ..

I'm Affraid is too late to re-apply PGWP, however you should try, of course.

CIC doesn't request for forgotten documents, them consider the application incomplete and get refused, it's the standard procedure.

That's the reason it's so important to take extra care submitting application, specially when processing times are so slow than you have no time to re-apply after refusal

If you want to come back, you need to explore other options: LMIA WP, PR (EE, PNP) and IEC.

You can go to your closer Canada consulate (I did it for a different reason), or even your local inmigration office but them won't provide any advise about your situation.

As far I know, you don't meet conditions to apply, however you can try, adding a explanation letter about previous issues, but don't expect a positive answer.

No.
