Hello,

A little background - I am Canadian and I have applied for a Spousal Sponsorship and TRP outland (Belgium) for my husband and received AOR in August 2019. My husband still does not have the confirmation of TRP, our last instructions was a request to pay biometrics fee on December 31 2020, now just waiting for any more info. Because of hardships due to COVID, and because we realised there would be even more delays with his visa, we decided to come earlier to Canada. He came on an ETA on October 3 2020. His visitor status will expire April 3 2021, so we are currently applying to extend it, hoping that we will hear back about his TRP, but not too hopeful. I just had a few questions to ask regarding filling out the application.

Question 8- Previous country of residence- we put Belgium, but it asks for a 'to' date. What do we put here? Techincally it is still his country of residence, but do we put the date he entered Canada?

Details of Visit to Canada
Question 2 - what do we put as the 'to' date? His current visitor status will expire on April 3 2021, and he plans on staying until he gets his TRP, but of course we have no idea when that will be as we have gone over the 12 month waiting period.

Question 3 - funds available for my stay. I am currently working 2 jobs and my husband is not working (obviously). We have a bit of savings in my Canadian account, but do we add a kind of 'projected income' based on my current monthly income? We also have quite a bit of savings in our Belgian account, should we add this info as well? I assume we also need to add bank account statements to prove this?

Background information
2 c) have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? Do we include details about his TRP application? Do we include any previous ETAs he has? Do we need to attach any documents as proof?

3 a) My husband has a previous criminal conviction, which we disclosed in our TRP. I have all relevant court docs, translations etc. do I attach this to the application?

Thanks in advance for your help!
