Hello,

I had a query regarding the recent letter I have gotten from IRCC. My recent letter consists of Application number, sponsor UCI number and the application said that "This application is accepted under the 2017 PGP intake"

I wanted to know what does this mean and what will be the next step can anyone interpret this for me. Thank you.

It obviously means you've been accepted to sponsor your parents/grandparents as part of the draw for this year. The next step you can figure out by going on the CIC website or reading the email carefully, or you can hire an immigration consultant.

At first I have received a mail where I have won the first round lottery for PGP in April and then I have submitted the entire application in June first week.
After 3 months I have received this very mail which mentions my file number and UCI number so I was wondering what is the next process after this? Will I be receiving another mail that my sponsorship has been accepted or this mail itself is an acceptance? Let me know, thanks in advance.

I can't say for sure because I've never applied for PGP myself. But yes, it would seem like now they're reviewing whether you're eligible as a sponsor. If you don't know much about what to expect, I highly recommend you get a professional and reputable lawyer. Some money spent on a good lawyer will save you a lot of headache and frustration. Immigration is a highly detailed and sensitive process, and if you make even a small mistake, it can ruin someone's chances of immigration to Canada forever. So get some professional help.

No need to hire a lawyer or consult with one if you do not have anything weird or out of normal with your application. Do not waste your money this way. Look up the information you are looking for on this forum. I repeat, you do not need a lawyer unless you are in trouble. All you need is to know a little more about the process, that is all. You do not get an immigration lawyer just because you do not know what the next stage is. Keep waiting, the parents sponsorship is a very long process, it will probably take you around three years.
