Help with information please : WES is taking more than 5 weeks

I upgraded my WES account to add my MBA qualification. I am confident that WES received the transcripts on 17th June. On 26th June, WES account status changed to "In progress- we are reviewing your documents,- you are not required to do anything". To date the same status is there and I am worried about this delay. If I had the MBA, My current score (455) would have shoot up to 462 and would have got the ITA yesterday. My birthday is around the corner. Does WES send any e mails to the institutes to verify the transcripts eventhough transcripts were sent directly from the institute?

I have seem them typically take about a month from the 1st date. You should hear something by end of next week. It depends on their mood if they will ask university to verify the transcript - yeah even though university already sent them directly . I would say expect one more month for the final result. But, yeah call or send emails every week until you hear any status update.

Thank you. I tried to call WES on 24th July but no one answered, I waiting for more than 20 minutes on the line. Sent a message in fb and wrote to WES on 25th July. I checked with my University also, they have not receive any request yet.

If you go on their website you will see a message there stating that they have excessive number of requests and expect some delays.

Normally the wait time is 35 business days after accepting your documents. 7 weeks not 5 weeks.
