Help with Form

Hi,

In the general application form, question 3 states 'How many family members, including you, are in this application?'

The guide says: "Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes
yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you
to Canada or not"

My question is: What do I write here ? I am applying individually and there are no other 'applicants' with me. But, as the guide says, any family member regardless of whether they intend to accompany with me or not should be included. I would mention my Father, my Mother and my Brother (Already has a Canadian passport) in form 'Additional Family Details'. So, should i write '1' here or '4' ?

Sorry. This might sound very kiddish but I dont want to enter anything wrong in the main form itself.

Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008):

If you are single : write N/A.
Don't include parents and siblings.

On the Additional Family information form ( IMM 5406 ) :

As you are single you don't have wife and children. Therefore show only details of your father, mother, brother (Canadian also) and sister.

To me, the answer is 1. Because, it says "including you".

Since you are the only person, you must enter 1. I filled it up like that. I guess I am right.

And also, when you try to enter zero (0) there, a warning window comes up and says "The value must be at least 1".
