Help with documents from japan

Hi everyone! we need some help with documents from japan for my wife to be and her daughter. they need her to get Birth certificate, National identity cards, Divorce certificate and custody papers in Japan. but the problem is that this is all in English, she does not know the Japanese language for all of these documents and don' know where to get them. any information would be very much appreciated thank you

Your wife needs to get a "Koseki Tohon" and "Kaiseigen Koseki Tohon".
These documents list the information regarding birth, marriage, divorce, etc. for Japanese nationals.
Your daughter's Koseki Tohon should list who has custody.
You'll need to get the documents translated and certified as well.
