Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post my question, but any response is appreciated.
As the title states, my question is regarding Canadian passport application.
I recently became a Canadian citizen. So, now I want to apply for Canadian passport. Passport application asks for full name as it appears on citizenship certificate. I understand that this is a straightforward question, but here's my dilemma:
Name on birth certificate and passport from my birth country(I'm a dual citizen now) is ABC(first name) John(first middle name) Doe(second middle name) XYZ(last name). But, when my landing paper was filled out at the airport, officer shortened my first middle name to 'Jon' and completely dropped my second middle name.
So, it went from
or should I just do a legal name change?
Thank you for your time.

My question is, would I be able to put both of my middle names (or at least the correct version of first middle name) in my application?ABC John Doe XYZ -> ABC Jon XYZ (name on my landing paper and Canadian citizenship certificate).
or should I just do a legal name change?
Thank you for your time.
