Hi,

I was on a permit and got my residence recently. I have 7 years of experience and trying to find a job. Any guidance on Resume & Cover Letter is very much appreciated or how to find a job for BA would be of great help.

Please advise.

It really doesn't matter the format as long as your credentials are solid. When I just started working I send my CV as I always had in my country and there was no problem. If your knowledge is good the CV format should be no problem at all.

But if you still want to do it "the Canadian way": http://www.livecareer.com/

I would also advice against cover letters. In fact when I do hiring and interviews I usually just disregard the cover letter, everyone is a quick learner, has people abilities, is willing to learn and bla bla bla bla.... unless you are going to say something different it is better to put that work on your resume.

BTW.... 7 years means nothing if it is not Canadian experience, aim for a junior role.
