Hello, we consulted an immigration consultant and he basically reiterated a lot of things most already said in this forum which you probably knew already. His suggestion was to provide as much proof as we can since the initial application that we've been cohabiting.
This should include but not limited to event photos from family/friends gathering, letters of support from friends who can vouch that you and your spouse are cohabiting, and anything else you can think of. The letters is very important and preferably these were from friends who are also Canadian citizen and verifiable.
How about reference letter from your doctor and better yet if your friends are also doctors who can vouch for you and have the letter done on company's letterhead. Have you taken your spouse out to your company Christmas party? Then get your boss or coworker to vouch for you. They want verifiable proof and the more proof the better and include everything and anything. Pictures and reference letters are golden!
How about proof of shared expenses? If your spouse is also helping you pay the bills provide expense statements that shows her name with a common address (like utility bills, credit card bill under a common address, phone bills, bank statements, etc).
I hope that helps and yes we got the PR already
