HELP! Website says I'm not eligible for express entry!

I did take the general training so in that respect I should be fine.

I'm taking your advice, Ellia, I'll wait a couple of days and start the application from scratch, I'll make sure to read everything through very carefully.

Just in case the same thing happens again, what do I do then?
That's my main worry, that since everything is automated they don't want to deal with individual cases...
The embassy basically told me they can't help me but I can't accept the fact that there is no way for us to speak to someone about our cases.

Thanks so much for all your advice.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

I know that there is a way to report a technical issue once you have an EE profile. Maybe there is a way, too, even before you create it?
Or wait, you do have an EE profile, you just can't submit it to the pool, right? Then I think there should be a button somewhere to do that.

HI I have a similar problem.

In 2015 I had a eligible Express entry profile. Mid way through the year I got a job offer. I tried updating my profile and to my surprise i found my profile suddenly became ineligible. The CRS score was no longer displayed so I have no Idea where I can improve my score.
Since then i have tried a few times to create a new profile. The minimum eligibility assessment always comes positive. but once I complete the application I get a negative outcome. But the most annoying this is that there is now score displayed. Without the score I have no way of knowing where i fail to meet the minimum requirement.

My IELTS is 8
I have my education assessed etc.

Do anyone have the same problem? or do you have any suggestions?

Do you have a 'valid' job offer for immigration? It has to be for permanent, full-time work with LMIA.
Or do you mean that you were creating your new profiles without the job offer, and they still were ineligible?
Did anything change at the time your first profile's status changed, like your foreign work experience become older than 10 yo, or something?

read this and check the details

Your past study in Canada

You finished at least two academic years of full-time study (in a program at least two years long) at a secondary or post-secondary school in Canada.

Full-time study means at least 15 hours of classes per week, and you must have stayed in good academic standing (as set out by the school) during that time.

Two things changed.

1. I Got older
2. I did get a job offer (but not yet the LMIA)

What I can't understand is, when I created the profile in January 2015 I was eligible and had a score (it was just under 400). It was not enough, I know, because of my age (40) and I did not have a Job offer at the time.

I travelled to Canada later that year and met potential employers and managed to secure an offer. I started to work with them to get an LMIA. in the meantime by October I updated my profile with this new information that I have a job offer. to my surprise I found my profile no longer eligible after that. and no score was displayed.

Does anyone else have a problem where there is no score shown in the profile?

If the profile that you are trying to update was created in January 2015, then the profile has expired. Your profile shall be in the pool only for a year and if nothing has happened in the interim, you will have to create new profile to enter the pool again.

Here is my Profile:
Age: 28
Work Experience: 5 years in India as System Analyst (NOC-2171)
3 months in Canada as Quality Assurance (NOC-2171) currently working.
Education: 4 years Bachelor degree in India equivalent to Canadaian degree(accessed by WES)
1 year PGDM in Canada
IELTS : L-6,R6.5,S-6,W-6.

LMIA : My employer is supporting and its under process.

Can someone provide some suggestion where I went wrong?

Thanks in advance!!

To qualify into express entry pool you need to first qualify for one of the three programs
FSW
CEC
FS Trade

You seem to be applying through FSW because CEC doesn't work for you yet.

Looking at FSW points, you seem to fall below 67 required points to qualify for FSW.

Age: 12 Points
Experience: 13
Education: 21 (or 22, not sure)
ielts: 16

total : 62 ... 5 short of 67.

I would suggest re-write IELTS to get minimum these scores.
L:8, R:7, W:7, S:7

This will qualify you for FSW because it will add another 8 points which puts your FSW score to 70. And hence puts you in the express entry pool. Also, it drastically increases your CRS score to 477.

Take a course or something to improve your IELTS. You are sure shot PR candidate for Canada. Good luck!

If you score less than 67 points then you're not eligible under the FSW program.

Well for one, NOC 2287 doesn't exist.

What is your score under the six selection factors? Are you above the required 67 points?
