HELP w/ address history

When filling up the PR application after ITA it says I should not leave any gaps.

I found myself in a case where I moved from country A to B and the flight took more than one day. My passport stamps are dated: August 27 left from A, and August 29 arrived to B.

Technically, I cannot say I lived at A until the 28th or started living at B on the 28th (as to not leave any gaps) because my passport stamps will contradict me.

What to do in this case?

Also, when I moved to Canada. I stayed in hotels for 2 days, then in temporary place for two weeks until I rented an apartment. How should I proceed with my address history here? I do not even remember the hotel or the temporary place addresses.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Does it ask for specific dates anywhere? If I recall, it was always at the month level. I don't remember going down to date level granularity at any point in time while filling up the application.

The new PR application asks for specific dates. I've noticed it while filling the application post ITA though collecting other documents. It too appeared unnecessary to me as well but we can't do much.

I also remember that prior to EE, they only asked about month and year and not exact dates.

I guess the best option is to say that layover at the airport for date in question and attach a letter of explanation.

Anyone has got any other input on this topic?
Is it Ok to leave 1-2 days gaps in address history when moving to another country as to match the stamps on the passport?
