HELP!!! Visa Rejected by Canadian High Commission, New Delhi

Hey guys... help me out here. Im to join Vancouver Film School by October 17th 2011

I live in Bangalore and Ive submitted all documents on the 4th of this month to a visa agency and Ive gotten the passport back without the visa

Here are the reasons for why I was rejected

1. "You have not demonstrated that you are sufficiently well established in your contry of residence."

2. "You have not demonstrated that you or your parents have sufficient income and assets to justify your proposed studies."

3. "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of : your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans."

4. "You have not submitted the requested documentation, namely: IELTS. Based on the information provided, you have not satisfied me that you meet the requirements for issuance of a study permit.



OK so heres the thing.

1. How do i show that I am well established here?

2. I've paid 30% of my fees and the rest 70% [i.e. $37275 or about 17.2 lakhs indian rupees] is due next month. I've submitted my dads bank statement showing 27 lakhs as balance ie leaving about CAD$ 20k after the fees for living expenses and a ticket back.

3. This point is one I dont fully understand. I have submitted my 10th and 12th marksheets. There was a section where I had to fill out what Ive been doing teh past 10 years and I had mentioned that I attended college for my bachlors but I didnt complete it so I dont have documents for that. Is that why?

4. Vancouver Film School had sent a letter addressed to the High Commission stating that I have met the English language requirements and I had sent a copy of the same.

Help me out... what else was I supposed to do?

Im gonna send a letter to the High Commission. Lets see what happens

1. By showing work experience, and a job
2. Get certified bank loan (it does not matter if you use it or not!). Visa Officer "love" to see certified Bank Loan as it is verified and conclusive.
3. this one is the "most common reason" for rejection. It mens that your prospective study plans has nothing to do with your past work experience or job or study. Your study plans are not compatible with your earlier education/work.
4. IELTS is a MUST. In no way you can get away from it.

1. hmm okie... I think I didnt submit work exp before... rats
2. A bank loan??? Grrrr I have a proper bank statemnt from Federal bank which is one of the banks they recognise and they wont consider it.
3. Yeah thats what i gathered from the point... I wrote a letter stating how my studies actually lead to this... what else to do
4. You see thats contested... I know of four others who got the visa without doing the IELTS. All of them english proficient. All of them heading to Vancouver Film School with the exact same letter that I had. Two have already left since their start dates were this month. The other two got their visas (they had smartly applied way before I did) and will leave by the first week of October.

In any case i've written a letter to be faxed to the High Commission with a few attached documents. If nothing happens in 2 days Ill go ahead and resubmit everything again...

I got rejection for Jan 2014 for Dalhousie University Sad.. the reason of refusal:your proposed stdies r nt reasonable in light of 1 or more of: ur qualifications, previous stdies, employment , level of establishment, language abilities, or ur future propects and plans.
I got admission in dalhousie UNI for M.engg in internetworking. my profile is B.E (E&C) 58% (10 backlogs with repeatation) and an year gap during U.G means B.E completed in 5 years. IELTS- 6.5 (min 6 in each),also my final year project was on networking and I have also submitted a certificate from a private institute of N+, CCNA, MCSE where I have done training of these networking courses .. sufficient funds shown, but SOP was very poor... applied under university category.. now how to resolve this issue with this profile?? plz guide me, I am desparately looking for help on this as I want to re-apply soon for the same intake..
