Dear guys my problem
I want to ask you please help me what should I do

I have applied for work permit for Canada 7 months ago through a lawyer who was already in Canada i was in my home country . I am here as carpenter i have done 1 year diploma in carpenter field and genuine 4 years experience . Fortunately i got work visa. I have done graduation through distance education from my home country India. Unfortunately it didn't mentioned at the time of previous work permit application. Now I am planning to apply for permanent resident.

I got visa on behalf of carpenter diploma and experience . During full time experience i have done graduation through distance education. It was not requirement of graduation.

Can i mention graduation now for permanent resident application ?

It may be misrepresentation or not ?

Please reply dears please

In order to be credited for foreign education, you have to get an educational credentials assessment (ECA). There is nothing wrong with distance education per se. Not entirely sure what you are worried about...

Unfortunately your post is hard to read clearly because I imagine English is not your first language and certain semantic markers about time and tense are mixed up.

If you didn't declare this educational activity while applying for a work visa - on the form where you are supposed to declare all educational activity - it is most likely a minor issue as the education may not have been material to the decision on your work visa. That is, the visa officer may not have made a different decision knowing you had done distance education.

If you are claiming points for it during a PR application, you must explain why you did not declare it for your work visa. Make sure you know why you didn't put it on the form, explain that, and be clear in your letter of explanation. Only the visa officer then can decide if you not including it in your work visa was misrepresentation that may have been material.
