(HELP!!)URGENT STUDENT VISA ENQUIRY-PROOF OF FUNDS

Hello to all. Hope you all are healthy and happy !

I am currently stuck and I need to really apply for visa asap.

I was thinking that I can open a bank account in Canada, transfer the required funds and then get the bank statement from canada for proving funds.
One counselor told me that if that is the case, I would have to show the original bank statements (from the bank the money was transferred) as well as the Canadian bank statement.

Is this true ?

I dont think that would be necessary. You already have the money in your Country bank. Just print your statement from your country bank and that should be good to go.

we just thought it would be easier to print one bank statement from an account in canada than showing past 4 months' bank statements from different banks in different countries.

i would be easier if just that one bank statement could be provided.
