Hi guys,

Which noc do you guys think its the closest fit to my case?

My job title: Senior Application Support Analyst

My current duties/responsibilities are: (5 years of experience)

• Analyzing and defining computing platforms infrastructure solutions for existing and new projects;
• Performing systems planning and requirement analyses to determine necessary systems functions and behavior;
• Training and aiding in the dissemination of knowledge of internal systems to his peers and other teams;
• Creating technical documentation of projects and platforms;
• Acting as a Team Leader and Technical Leader in projects and daily activities;
• Working to create, implement and maintain solutions to critical mission computing environments used by the company;
• Deploying and improving systems performance and automation;
• Developing internal software in a range of programming languages, including Python, Perl and Bash scripting;
• Participating in technical meetings with key stake holders of evaluating and deciding on the purchase of development of needed internal technologies;
• Managing activities and delegating task to his peers;
• Representing the company in international technology events in Brazil and USA;

And I have a bachelor in Information Systems.

For me the closest one is 2171, but what do you think?

Ps.: I have tried to send an email to NC-NOC-CNP-GD2@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca, but I just received a generic answer that I have to determine it and I have the final decision to which is best...

Looks like 2171 to me.

The only one that may lean towards something else is "Developing internal software in a range of programming languages, including Python, Perl and Bash scripting" as 2171 is really about advising others how to code. But then "developing" isn't the same as, say, "Building".

I think you definitely hit the mark here.

Yeah, but sometimes I really need to "put my hands in the code" . ;D

But I agree that "building" would be a lot better for an analyst.

I already have an authenticated reference letter text with this text, so I think I will stick with this one.

Thanks kryt0n.
