Help! Thanks! Getting married before Permanent Residence

I will be getting my PR card soon (passport mailed already), and my boyfriend filed his pnp application few months ago.
We are planning to get married in few months, and he will probably still be in the process of the immigration.
My question is if we do get married, what does he need to do if my status is PR?
Or should we just wait to get married after he gets the PR, and we have no idea how long it'll take...
Or any suggestions for this situation?

It is not a big deal because you are already PR. He should still update that he got married though but you do not need to be added to his application because you are already PR.
