Hello everyone! I just got back my application package yesterday and got refused for a visa because the officer was not satisfied that I will be going home after my contract.
I have worked in Canada in 2012 to 2014, the company was not rehiring anymore so I have searched for another job and got a job offer. I stayed in Canada during the process for the new work permit. But after few months I was asked to leave Canada because I was not able to submit the document the CiC was asking from me within the 3 months frame. I went back to Philippines and started applying again, secured all other necessary documents and requirements. With this history, I believe the officer based his decision.
I want to re-apply. Please advice me on what and how can I prove the officer that I did not intend to stay in Canada without legal permit and that I will return in my home country after my contract.
Thank you so much.

What evidence did you provide you show proof of ties to your home country?

How long has it been since you left Canada?
