Hello guys

I'm trying to finish up my husband's sponsorship application but there are a few things that I'm worried about.

1) in his country of nationality the names on passports include his name , his father, grandfather, sometimes great grandfather, family name. For example the name would look like this

John Alexander george Coldwell

So in the application they ask for his given name(s) as it appears in the passport..... at first we typed it as it appeared in the passport but we realized that way his name would be so long..... can we just type the first name and include a letter of explanation??

2) he has another passport froma different country with a different last name because since they write the names of the father, grandfather, great grandfather, etc.....sometimes the official in charge of the passort application would drop the last name and stop at the name of the great grandfather.....I know this is weird but that's how they do it......we mentioned this and included a letter of explanation.....do you think it will cause problems?

Thank you guys

Yes, include a separate [age of explanation.

It won't help! So yes, again, a page of explanation would be called for!

Thanks a lot!!!!

one more question:
his temporary travel document is from Yemen. It took us a long time to obtain a police certificate from there because the country is in chaos due to ongoing war. unfortunately they wrote his nationality as Yemeni, which is not true he only had a temporary travel document. We can't ask for another one because it was extremely difficult to issue this one in the first place. Also, the officials there are kinda of stubborn and most likely wont change it because many of them are not familiar with the travel document system. I am planning to send the police certificate that we have with an explanation

Would it be enough?

I'm worried that these issue would get us rejected :(
