Are the barcode pages in the package?

The UCI they can look up based on travel documents.

If they send it back, it's by mail. But those sheets are coded, so when you scan them, it describes which form it is. If they are feeling kind, they might just re-organize the package for you... If you did the forms by hand from a Service Canada / CBSA office, then it wouldn't even have the barcode page anyway...

I'd say that, as long as you didn't miss the really key forms, they won't return it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I know after mailing mine I started second-guessing a lot of stuff, including placement of the barcode pages. A lot of people separate the application into different envelopes for the sponsor and principal applicant, for instance. We chose not to go that route, and instead followed the checklist verbatim and sent all of the forms and supporting documents in one envelope, with the barcode sheets on top. I started to worry this wasn't what they intended, and that something would get lost or screwed up (it didn't, it wasn't, and we got our AOR and SA on the same timeline as other people on the spreadsheet who sent theirs in around the same dates). I wouldn't think that having the barcodes out of order would actually result in it getting sent back, since the common understanding here is generally that when they get your file they basically take everything apart and rearrange it to their liking anyway.

Then I came to the realization that on the IMM5406, I'd forgotten to write in several fields that couldn't be filled in on the PDF version properly because of the length of the text. So I worried until we got AOR that it was going to be sent back over that (it wasn't). And now of course I'm alternating back and forth between being comfortable waiting for the inevitable document request, and wanting to head it off at the pass by sending a case specific enquiry with the corrected form.

I'd say try to relax, but I know that's much easier said than done. But neither of the things you mentioned sounds like something that would get the application sent back outright. It's very easy to overthink things. I worried constantly until I knew it wasn't going to be sent back, especially because it becomes very easy while reading the forums to second guess yourself about how you did (or didn't) organize things.

I read the data on the barcode pages. The data in the barcode identifies the form, and all of the fields (and the data on the form) on the application.

This way, they can just scan it into GCMS.

So, if they know what form it is, then can just re-organize like they do with every application...

I was sponsored by my husband in 2015 and landed in Canada in 2015 May. I am married with him for last 20 years and we have two children, both are Canadian citizens. I was told that I have to live with my sponsor continuously for 2 years. However, I had to come back for some family reason after 11 months. My PR card is valid till 2020. My question is, can I go back to Canada anytime next year? Will they stop me at the port of entry? Or they may let me in?
