Help! Should I wait for my Passport

Hi Guys,
I received my PPR on 19th Feb. But I am currently in fix. I had sent my Passport to CPC-Ottawa for my TRV stamping last week. Should I wait for my Passport to be returned and then send it back again or can I let CIC know that they have my Passport? I still have to send my spouse's Passport and our photos though.

I really want this to be done quickly hence was thinking if that might be possible.

The passport goes through a procedure there. It gets assigned to your file number and a certain department has to process the visa according to your file. I recommend that you call CPC-Ottawa and ask about this situation.

I don't think there is a phone number for CPC Ottawa other than the unhelpful call center agents.

I would email them (you got the email contact on the PPR email) and ask - they respond quickly.

You will get an automated response saying they will reply in 20 days, but will most likely get a response sooner. I contact them twice, and got a response in 3 days on the first one, and within 1 day on the second time.

if you don't get a response, then wait to get your passport back and send it over again.

I did email them and they asked me for the tracking number of the passport post. But I am worried as it has only my Passports. I have to send my spouse's passport and also the photos. I am concerned as they would need to put these together and I am not sure if they would do it(taking so much pain to find my passport and then match with the 2nd post I send) :-(

I guess I don't have any other option but to wait.
